Step into my crazy journey of design and travel!
Hailing from the vibrant streets of Mumbai, India, my journey as a graphic designer began with a fervent passion for painting and calligraphy since my childhood. Eventually earning a Bachelors in fine arts felt like a no brainer with a specialization in Typography and an award for my advertising campaign on ‘Safety Pins’, see it below!! Out of college and getting into the business, I started working on logos and marketing collaterals for freelance clients which sparked a keen interest in branding. Designing logos made me wake up in the middle of the night. The meaning and thought process behind every company’s logo has interested me for years.
Venturing across oceans to the canals of Venice, Italy, It was here that I received my first big opportunity. Designing a logo for the new lab of the Venice Eye Bank foundation, ICOP. Alongside designing the logo, I was introduced to a whole new world of scientific illustrations. I created my first illustration which got published in The Eye World Magazine.
This was an interesting combination that led me to the captivating realm of branding and websites X scientific illustrations.
Moving to the bustling craziness of London, my favorite city, only second to Mumbai, India. I delved deeper into scientific illustrations, branding and websites. Here I worked at a private ophthalmic clinic, Clinica London located on the prestigious Harley Street. Along with handling the social media, marketing collaterals for the clinic independently, I also worked on a renowned ophthalmic surgeons branding and website, Dr Sajjad Ahmad, sajjadahmad.co.uk.
Now, nestled in the heart of Boston, MA, USA, I last worked at the amazing Ten Bridge Communications, a Biotech communications and PR firm based in downtown, and continue to weave my magic in the design world.
